Produktbeschreibung

A major sleeper of the vintage, the crop for this 2010 from this moderately large estate of 55 acres yielded 24 hectoliters per hectare. Produced with the help of Stephane Derenoncourt, the wine hits the scales at 14.5% natural alcohol. The final blend turned out to be 100% Merlot, unlike most years, when some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are included. Offering up toasty notes intermixed with black currants, plums, figs, underbrush and oodles of berry fruit, it is medium to full-bodied, silky-textured, and best drunk over the next 8 years. This is another example of a terrific Bordeaux at a reasonable price that is meant for early consumption.
